What’s your style?
So I make it no secret that I work in a more informal way, I’m relaxed and I like to have fun with my couples! I am a perfectionist, so I like to make sure that everything is as great as possible for your photographs but in the same breath I like to shoot natural moments, laughs and tears as they happen. I love shooting the whopper ‘hero’ shots that will end up on your wall but I also adore the silly moments as they will stay in your heart and make you smile from ear to ear when remembering your day. I can be both stealthy ninja when needed but provide general merriment and direction when necessary too. I’m a wedding chameleon depending on my couple, the moment and the vibe of the day! I will make the process as easy as possible for you - that’s for sure.
Where are you based?
I’m based by the beach in sunny Bournemouth Dorset, but I’m lucky enough to travel far and wide to shoot beautiful days and meet wonderful people. I mostly shoot weddings across the south coast of England as well as destination weddings in Europe. Travel is included for England and Wales so no extra costs to worry about, and with destination weddings, I organise all my travel details to make life as easy as poss for you.

Are you insured?
Most definitely loves. I’ve been working in this industry for 16 years and wouldn’t ever dream of not having full public liability and professional indemnity insurance. My kit is all insured too as that is worth the price of a small house so call me crazy but I’m insured to the nines don’t you worry! It’s no problem to send your venue copies of the various insurances for their records.
How many images do we receive?
Quite a few! I’m with you for around 10 hours on your wedding day, sometimes longer, so it does mean there’s a lot of dreamy moments happening in that time! My galleries are over 800 images.
Do you need feeding on the day?
It’s always so appreciated to have a hot meal on a wedding day as I’m up and about for a lorra hours, but it isn’t contracted. It’s no problem if a meal isn’t provided but I may need to leave the premises to get some hot food as the kitchen at your venue might be devoted to your party and not taking additional orders (or I can’t use any kitchen facilities of my own) so just something to bear in mind. A dry sandwich that’s been in the car for the last 8 hours isn’t always the most dreamy thing when you need the energy to be raring to go again!
When is the best time for couple pics?
You may see on my website and insta that I do love to shoot in golden hour, so the last hour or two before the sun sets. This is prime time dreamy light for your couples photos but also it’s a fab time to borrow you both as a lot of the time this is when your guests will be having coffee or in a food coma so won’t even notice you’re gone! Then you, me and a bottle of wine (jokes) can head off for a little wander to get the most perfecto pics of you two looking super relaxed (because of that wine - more jokes) and loved up in the evening light. Even if it’s not sunny, it’s a great time just to have a little time just the two of you as believe it or not, you barely get any of that on your wedding day!
Are you LGBTQ+ friendly?
Yes, yes and more yes. I want everyone and anyone to feel fully welcome here and comfortable with being themselves. If you have pronouns you’d prefer me to use then please let me know. I am trying to be an ally as much as possible, I still make mistakes so please do let me know if I am and I will do my utmost to change this or improve however I can.
Do you offer pre wedding shoots and other extras?
Oh I do indeed! I offer them and highly recommend them. There is no better way to get comfier for your photography. As well as us getting to know each other a little better you will see just how easy it is when I show you the tricks to getting natural, relaxed pictures. It’s so much more informal than your wedding day too, you can really be yourselves, and you can even bring puppers or bubbas along so we can get shots of your little VIP unit in a super chill way.
Whilst I mostly shoot by myself I also offer second photographers and beautifully made fine art albums with your chosen images so lots on offer if you require it :)
How long does it take to receive our gallery?
So as mentioned I am a bit of a perfectionist, and I spend a lot of time making sure your images are as perfect as possible (blame my years as a retoucher!) So please allow 12 weeks (up to 16 weeks in peak summer) for your full gallery. The lovely thing is that within a week after your wedding, you get a gorgeous chunk of sneak peaks to keep you going and share with friends and family in the mean time! The wedding buzz reignites when you get your slideshow and gallery through and I make sure that you and your friends & family have free downloads so everyone can enjoy!
‘How do we snap you up’ I hear you shout!
Well firstly, drop me a little email to see if I’m still available on your date. I’ll get back to you asap and will send along a brochure to give you all the info. You’re more than welcome to have a zoom call with me or meet me in person if you’re not too far away so you can get to know me a little more. If you’re happy then I’m happy. I ask for a booking fee to be paid to secure your date and a signed booking contract between us and then, my friends, I am there with bells on for your special day.
